Exposed Fastener Stand

Screw Down Style For Exposed Fastener Roofs

The Snow Stop Exposed Fastener Stand is built for large-scale snow retention in light to extreme snowfall regions, delivering reliable performance on standing seam roofs for both commercial and high-demand residential projects. Constructed from a high-strength, corrosion-free polymer, it provides exceptional strength in a lightweight design and supports both 1-bar and 2-bar rail configurations for flexible layouts. The stand features an integrated ice blocker that helps break up and control ice before it can slide, adding an extra layer of protection at the roof edge. The system installs using mechanical fastening, with butyl tape pre-installed on the base of each stand to create a watertight seal and prevent leaks, while five #10 self-tapping fasteners per stand clamp the butyl and seal every penetration in a single installation step

Install in Three Quick Steps

Snap a straight, level line according to your layout. Position each stand with the preinstalled butyl strip down on a clean, dry panel flat or rib.

Fasten the stand using the included fasteners. Tighten until the neoprene washers show even compression all the way around. Do not over tighten. *Center fastener optional.

Feed the rail through the stands along the layout line. Install rail joiners at any rail breaks and end caps at terminations, then final check for alignment.
