Snow Stop is Canada's exclusive distributor of ArcticAnchor™ snow retention systems — engineered with TitanCore™ to keep snow and ice safely on metal roofs, from coast to coast.
Our story
Snow Stop was founded by two industry veterans with more than 30 years in Canadian steel importing — key suppliers to the market through three decades of building. That work gave them a rare, ground-level understanding of metal roofing: how panels are made, how they fail, and where the gaps in the market really are.
Snow retention was one of those gaps. So they set out to fix it — partnering with ArcticAnchor™ to develop a revolutionary snow-retention system built specifically for the demands of the Canadian winter. Today, Snow Stop holds the exclusive rights to distribute ArcticAnchor™ across all of Canada.

Exclusively Canadian
Through our partnership in developing the system, Snow Stop is the sole authorized distributor of ArcticAnchor™ snow retention across the country — with Canadian stock, Canadian pricing, and snow-load guidance for every region.

The material advantage
At the core of every ArcticAnchor™ guard is TitanCore™ — a proprietary polymer blend engineered for high tensile strength and resilience through extreme temperature swings, from punishing summer heat to −30°C cold. Under load the rail flexes and springs back to its original shape, where traditional aluminum kinks and stays bent — yet a 7 ft length weighs just 1,200 grams.
That strategic partnership is why our product is, simply put, the most over-engineered and resilient snow-retention system on the market. This rail is being tested under 3,000 lbs of direct force — far beyond any snow load it will ever face on a roof — and it holds.
What sets us apart
A 100% rust-proof polymer that needs no coatings, and won't go brittle at −30°C. Fully UV-stabilized and integrated throughout, so it stays fade-resistant for years.
Attach, set the rail, tighten. No specialty crew and — on standing seam — no roof penetrations. Most runs go up fast with basic hand tools.
Standing seam or exposed fastener, big roof or small dormer — one product family covers it, so you spec less and stock less.
Stocked in Canada and shipped coast to coast, with pricing and snow-load guidance for your specific region.
POM-tipped screws and non-penetrating clamps protect the panel and its finish — no crushed seams, no stripped coatings, no leaks.
We publish load ratings, cold ratings, and UV performance — so you can compare on facts, not marketing claims.
