For through-fastened metal panels, the Exposed Fastener Stand mounts directly into the roof structure with a pre-applied butyl seal — locking the snow rail in place while keeping every fastener weather-tight.

Every stand ships with a factory butyl strip on the base. As you torque it down, the butyl compresses into a continuous gasket around each fastener — so the very holes you create stay watertight for the life of the roof.
Stand profile
The stand geometry includes an integrated ice stop molded directly into the base, built to catch and break up sliding snow and ice without a separate add-on part.
